Thomas N. Ryan, Managing Partner

In addition to being the Managing Partner at Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP, Mr. Ryan is concentrated on the representation of management and individuals, in both the private and public sector, in all aspects of employment and labor law. He has extensive experience in employment discrimination, wrongful termination, discipline, breach of contract, harassment, wage and hour, collective bargaining, and other employment related issues.

Mr. Ryan has litigated employment cases in both State and Federal Courts; in the Administrative Courts; before the Department of Labor, PERC, EEOC and NJDCR. He also represents clients on employment contracts, compensation agreements, non-competition and non-disclosure agreements and severance agreements. Mr. Ryan reviews and prepares personnel policies and handbooks, conducts investigations into employee complaints, provides harassment and discrimination training and counsels clients on all employment issues.

In the area of commercial litigation, Mr. Ryan has represented corporate and business clients in consumer fraud actions, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, professional negligence and common law fraud litigation. He also serves as outside general counsel to mid-size corporations, municipalities and business on litigation, commercial agreements, corporate compliance and strategic planning.
