The Employee Handbook:
The Employee Handbook
This interactive seminar will teach EMPLOYERS AND HUMAN RESOURCES
PROFESSIONALS the essential components of an Employee Handbook and
equally important, what your handbook should not contain. You will also
learn how to use the Employee Handbook as a tool to communicate
expectations and the consequences for employees if they fail to meet
them.
- You may already have an employee handbook but fear it is
outdated. This seminar will highlight changes in the law, knowledge
of which are critical to updating your employee handbook.
- Learn how to communicate your handbook changes to your
employees.
- Seize the Employee Handbook as the golden opportunity it is to
be proactive by creating and implementing policies that can make the
many laws that burden New Jersey employers work in your favor.
- his seminar will empower you to adopt and implement policies in
key areas where failing to have a policy will allow the government
to make decisions that could actually hurt you.
- This seminar will also debunk the myth that it is better for
you, the employer, not to have an employee handbook for fear that
you will be creating a contract of employment.
- Learn what your handbook must contain in order to defend against
breach of implied contract claims.
