Clark & Garofalo Receive Rave Reviews 6/22/05 CONTACT: Eleanor Oudshoorn Sparta, NJ --- Richard I. Clark, Esq. and Michael Garofalo, Esq., of the law firm of Laddey Clark & Ryan, Sparta, NJ, have received “rave reviews” from the attendees of recent courses the attorneys presented, according to Joseph E. Doyle, Executive Director of The New Jersey Planning Officials (NJPO). Clark advised Planning and Zoning Officials on recent rulings; and at another course, addressed the Chairmen of various Boards of Adjustment and Planning on the new COAH (Council on Affordable Housing) rules and the Highlands Act. Garofalo taught introductory courses to Planning and Zoning Board administrators on the legal aspects of New Jersey land use. The course was part of NJPO’s curriculum for certification of local land use administrators. Both Clark and Garofalo focus on Municipal Law, Zoning and Planning in addition to other practice areas. Clark serves as NJPO’s Associate Counsel and is a member of the Land Use Drafting Committee of the League of Municipalities. He is also a trustee of the Land Use Section of the State Bar Association and a current associate counsel for New Jersey Planning Officials. Garofalo is the Planning Board Attorney for Oxford Township and Ogdensburg Borough. He represents numerous commercial and residential developers.
