New Jersey Monthly magazine has released its list of the top lawyers
in the state under 40 years of age as recognized by their peers. Only
2.5 percent of New Jersey Lawyers are named to this list. The selection
process is long and vigorous, surveying over 35,000 practicing New
Jersey attorneys who nominate the best lawyers they have personally seen
in action. A special panel then reviews each candidate's background,
including verdicts, honors, clients, community service and other
professional activities, along with researching the candidates through
newspaper articles, online sources and telephonic meetings with law
firms. "It is extremely gratifying that my hard work and dedication to the law has been recognized by my peers and colleagues once again this year,” says McFadden. McFadden has been an associate with Laddey, Clark & Ryan for 5 years. She specializes in personal injury and municipal prosecution. McFadden along with firm Partner, Andrew Fraser, Esq. obtained two of the highest jury verdicts for personal injury cases in Sussex County history. Most recently, McFadden and Fraser received a positive jury verdict against Newton oral surgeon, J. Philip Kurtz, who was found by the jury to have molested a female patient in his care causing her to suffer permanent psychological injuries. McFadden is a graduate of Rutgers University where she earned a B.A. in History and Political Science. She received her law degree from Seton Hall University Law School. She is admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court, District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
