Sparta, NJ --- Thomas N. Ryan, Esq. and Linda Day, Esq., attorneys with the Employment and Labor Practice Group at Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP of Sparta, New Jersey, will be conducting a seminar for human resource professionals and employers. The seminar will address methods of navigating the sea of state and federal wage and hour laws with confidence.

The half-day seminar on March 18th will offer an overview of the law which will help businesses avoid costs and fines from wage and hour audits and litigation. This interactive seminar will cover topics such as: how to properly classify employees as exempt or non-exempt; minimum wage under federal and state law; exemptions from the minimum wage under the FLSA; employer obligations regarding deductions from pay, and much more.

"Our intent is to help attendees fully understand the new wage and hour laws -- and feel comfortable and confident in handling wage and hour issues as they arise," says Day.

Each registrant will receive course material, including a discussion outline, which can be used for reference after the seminar is over. Registrants are asked to bring their questions and concerns to this informative program.

"Wage and Hour Laws" will be held March 18th from 8:30 - 11:30am at Perona Farms. For more information on the presenters or to register online, please visit www.lcrlaw.com, or call 973-729-1880.
