The seminar will address methods of navigating the sea of state and federal wage and hour laws with confidence. The half-day seminar on March 18th will offer an overview of the law which will help businesses avoid costs and fines from wage and hour audits and litigation. This interactive seminar will cover topics such as: how to properly classify employees as exempt or non-exempt; minimum wage under federal and state law; exemptions from the minimum wage under the FLSA; employer obligations regarding deductions from pay, and much more.
