THREE FROM SPARTA’S LADDEY, CLARK & RYAN HONORED AS “SUPER LAWYERS” Richard Clark, Thomas Ryan and Andrew Fraser Named to Prestigious List of New Jersey’s Top 5 Percent of Attorneys FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Beckerman Public Relations SPARTA, NJ – Super Lawyers, the annual survey that seeks to identify the top 5 percent of attorneys in New Jersey to give consumers of legal services a “credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys,” has bestowed that honor for 2007 on the three most senior partners at the Sparta-based law firm Laddey, Clark & Ryan. Named to the list were Richard I. Clark, Thomas N. Ryan, and Andrew A. Fraser. The firm’s late partner, Brian M. Laddey, was also named. Super Lawyers, which publishes New Jersey’s annual list in New Jersey Monthly magazine, develops and publishes the list “as a resource to assist attorneys and sophisticated consumers in the search for legal counsel.” “We have a common vision for this law firm and its professionalism, which we feel is critical,” Ryan said. “It’s an honor – and we think a reflection on our firm as a whole, including all our attorneys and staff – to be included in Super Lawyers. It’s always nice to have someone outside the firm – clients, for instance, or in this case Super Lawyers – to view us in this manner. We work hard to achieve the trust of our clients and positive notice from our colleagues at the Bar, and we’re pleased to be recognized this way.” In addition to serving as managing partner of the firm, which consistently receives Martindale-Hubbell’s AV rating, Ryan specializes in employment law, labor law and counseling commercial clients on legal and business issues. He most often represents companies and their ownership and management, but sometimes represents individual employees. Clark, who specializes in land use and zoning law, is vice chairman of the Land Use Drafting Committee of the League of Municipalities for New Jersey as well as associate counsel to New Jersey Planning Officials. He is renowned for his knowledge of municipal law and also has an active practice in trusts and estate planning. Fraser, who is a certified civil trial attorney, specializes in personal injury litigation – with a sub-specialty in catastrophic injury, product-defect and wrongful death cases – and has received for clients the two largest awards in Sussex County history. Each was in excess of $1 million – previously unheard of in this section of New Jersey. “The methodology that Super Lawyers employs makes this something that we as a firm are proud of,” said Firm Administrator Robbin Dolan, CLM. “The way they create the candidate pool, evaluate the attorneys who make it into the candidate pool, elicit evaluation by the attorneys’ peers in the various practice areas, and handle final selection makes this an honor that we find impressive. We practice statewide, but mostly in fairly rural areas, and we believe that this speaks to the sophisticated kind of law that we practice.” About Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP:
