Banking Law

To complement our Business Law and Commercial Real Estate practice groups, Laddey, Clark and Ryan, LLP offers expertise in banking law. Our firm has experience in most aspects of banking law. We represent both banking institutions and business clients in all aspects of commercial lending, from reviewing loan commitment documents through the loan closing. Our systematized procedures help ensure that your loan transaction goes smoothly.

We have assisted our lending clients in all facets of their operations from helping to standardize loan documents and review procedures, to implementing systems to address document requests while maintaining customer privacy. The banking group also has the ability to counsel lenders as they grow by working in conjunction with our land use practice group to assist in gaining approvals for new bank branches, as well as negotiating and preparing leases and real property purchase contracts.

We represent lenders in their efforts to collect on non-performing commercial and consumer loans. Our Commercial Litigation and Corporate and Business Law practice group offers a full range of services, from the formation of business entities and preparation of business succession plans, to negotiation and closing business sale transactions. COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

 EMPLOYMENT AND  LABOR LAW

The increasing demands of doing business makes compliance with the ever-changing myriad of state and federal employment laws and regulations a challenge without end. Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP, assists management and individuals in making informed decisions that are in compliance with current employment law. Employers and employees need to understand and manage issues including wrongful termination, age discrimination, sexual harassment and discrimination, as well as hostile working conditions and retaliation.

The firm advises clients in all facets of employment and labor law, including matters relating to discharge and discipline; grievance handling and resolution; PERC; wage and hour; and compliance with NJLAD, ADA, Title VII, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, as well as the remaining alphabet soup of employment and labor law. Public sector employment and labor laws present a unique set of issues in managing employer-employee relations in the public sector. MUNICIPAL LAW

The Municipal attorneys at Laddey, Clark and Ryan, LLP have over 100 years of combined experience representing municipalities and their boards. No field is more challenging or fluid than municipal law. Our attorneys are devoted to the practice of municipal law and a number of them share their expertise by teaching and lecturing in the field.
