EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK SEMINAR

Laddey, Clark & Ryan recently held a seminar entitled "The Employee Handbook: Developing Policies that Work for You." Attorney Thomas N. Ryan delivered the seminar.

The seminar covered the legal and practical aspects of the employee handbooks, contents of handbooks and for the final half hour, there was a question and answer session with both attorneys. During the seminar, particular emphasis was given to new areas requiring policies and continuing issues such as harassment, terminations and discipline, family leave, smoking in the workplace and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Ryan is the chair of the Labor and Employment Group at Laddey, Clark & Ryan.
