One of the best parts of my job is getting to know our clients and their businesses. I like learning how they became involved in their industry, set themselves apart from their competition and overcome obstacles. This helps me to develop solutions to their legal problems that are consistent with their core values.

Angelo Bolcato has over 25 years’ experience counseling small and mid-size business on a variety of business issues, from selecting the right type of entity structure for new businesses to business succession planning for mature businesses as their owners transition into retirement.

In between start-up and retirement, Angelo helps to develop strategies for success.  Whether the client is acquiring a franchise, developing customer contracts, leasing space for its business operations or acquiring a new business line or commercial real property, he provides sensible, cost-effective solutions. In addition, he routinely represents our banking clients in complex commercial lending matters and loan restructuring.  He also has significant experience representing non-profit organizations.

As a trusted legal advisor for our clients, Angelo routinely assists in making connections, whether it is making introductions to accounting and financial professionals, lenders, potential customers or business partners or new opportunities. Our clients can rely on Angelo’s timely, no-nonsense approach when handling their businesses’ legal issues.

In addition to assisting business clients, Angelo works with municipalities and their agencies and authorities. He has extensive experience in most aspects of municipal law, including contract negotiation and preparation; preparation of municipal legislation and public bidding. He has represented municipal governments in both state and federal courts, including challenges to local government actions and tax appeals, as well as pursued municipal claims in the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Angelo has been selected to the list of New Jersey Super Lawyers in 2021.*
