Personal injury law involves the recovery of monetary damages for people who have been injured as a result of the fault of someone else. If you have been injured by someone else or because of someone else’s negligence, you may be entitled to monetary damages. These damages may include recovery for medical bills or out of pocket medical expenses, lost wages, property loss or damage, as well as recovery for permanent injuries, pain and suffering.
We hope that everyone practices safe driving skills and that no one is ever injured in an automobile accident. Unfortunately, that is not reality. Distracted driving – driving while texting or talking on a cell phone – alone counts for 6,000 injuries and deaths a year in the U.S. This is in addition to other careless driving accidents. These injuries and deaths affect not only the drivers, but their families as well, often resulting in major medical bills and lost income from missed work. Some will require long term care and hospitalizations, and often their quality of life is permanently diminished. We are there to help you get through these challenging times.
