As part of their Employment Law Seminar Series, Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP will present Best Employment Practices to Start Your New Year Off Right for employers and human resource professionals on February 28, 2017 from 8:30-11:30 am at Perona Farms in Andover, NJ.

The first seminar in the Employment Law Seminar series will present valuable information and training on employment and labor practices for both private and public employers. The seminar will focus on relevant laws, recent updates, and how to best deal with recent developments in employment law at your business. Presenters Thomas Ryan, Ursula Leo, Jessica Jansyn, and Michael Darbee will discuss the legal obligations employers face and the important business decisions many employers have to make.

“Our experienced attorneys will discuss the legal obligations employers face and the important business decisions many employers have to make,” says Managing Partner, Tom Ryan.  He continues, “We will offer some valuable tools with regards to recent developments in employment law.”

Thomas Ryan, Esq. is the Managing Partner and Chair of the Employment and Labor Practice Group at Laddey, Clark & Ryan. He is a former president of the Sussex County Bar Association, and a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. He studied labor relations at Harvard University, where he earned his Master’s degree, and received his law degree from Seton Hall University. He grasps the intricacies of labor and employment law from the perspectives of both management and employees.

Ursula Leo, Esq. focuses her practice on Employment and Labor, Municipal, and Land Use Law. She advises clients in all aspects of employment and labor law, including employment contracts, compensation agreements, non-competition and non-disclosure agreements, and severance agreements. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, and her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, cum laude. She is a frequent lecturer on Employment and Labor Law topics.

Jessica Jansyn, Esq. focuses on Employment and Labor law in both the private and public sector. She earned her J.D. at Seton Hall University School of Law and was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review. Jessica received a B.A. degree in English and Mathematics from Centenary College in Hackettstown, N.J.

Michael Darbee, Esq. focuses on Employment and Labor Law, as well as Estates and Trusts. He earned his J.D. at Widener University School of Law and was a Board member on the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. Michael received his B.A. degree in English from The College of New Jersey.
