I became an attorney after traveling abroad and seeing how the rule of law can impact every aspect of our lives. I continue as an attorney because I enjoy advocating for clients and enjoy helping them navigate a complicated system of rights and responsibilities in order to achieve their goals.

Jessica Jansyn has experience handling commercial litigation matters for both large and small commercial clients, as well as not-for-profit clients. Her litigation experience includes demands, negotiation, discovery and trial of matters involving disputes with clients, vendors, former employees and between owners.  She has prosecuted and defended claims including the Consumer Fraud Act, common law fraud, negligence, contract disputes and shareholder/owner oppression, as well as other matters.

In addition to commercial litigation, Jessica has represented both employers and employees on a variety of employment matters including discrimination, harassment, whistle-blowing, severance agreements, non-compete agreements and contract claims. She also has experience in employee handbook drafting and review and is a regular speaker at the LCR Employment Series seminars.

While at Seton Hall University School of Law, Jessica was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review and worked for two semesters at the law clinics at Seton Hall.  Prior to law school, Jessica spent a year teaching English in Fuzhou, China after graduating with an undergraduate degree from Centenary College (now University).

Jessica was honored by the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey as the 2015 Elinor J. Ferdon Young Woman of Promise.  She was recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018 and 2019.
