On March 30, 2019, legal assistant, Erin Thompson volunteered for NJ Strays for their low cost microchip clinic in Franklin, New Jersey.
NJ Strays, along with help from other volunteers, microchipped 59 animals, cats and dogs. The first 50 microchips were donated by a local bank.
NJ Strays hosts other programs to avoid owner surrender and they work toward making all New Jersey shelters “no kill”. Erin plans to help out with their next low cost microchip clinic on Saturday, May 18 in Hopatcong, New Jersey.
