Ursula H. Leo, a Partner with Laddey Clark & Ryan LLP, and Chair of the firm’s Government Services and Employment/Labor Practice Groups, has been elected to serve as Associate Counsel to the New Jersey Planning Officials (NJPO), the only nonprofit organization that represents planning boards, zoning boards and adjustment and land use boards.
The NJPO is the largest provider of classes required by New Jersey state law for all new members of planning and zoning boards. The organization’s goal is to educate local board members so they can make better land use decisions.
Ursula has over a decade of experience counseling employers, employees, municipalities and developers. She is the attorney for Green Township, Stanhope Borough, Morris Plains, the Newton Planning Board, the Lafayette Township Land Use Board and the Wantage Township Land Use Board. She is the Labor Attorney for Frankford Township and Stanhope Borough. She guides individuals and developers through the application process before planning and zoning boards and various government entities. She also advises clients in related land use litigation.
