Meet Lisa J. Pezzano, who leads the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury practices in its new Phillipsburg office. Lisa previously founded and grew the Pezzano Law Group, which joined LCR in late 2025.
With over three decades of legal experience, she began her career representing insurance carriers, gaining valuable insight into how they assess and resolve claims—and what drives them to reach fair outcomes. For the past 25 years, Lisa has focused her practice exclusively on advocating for injury victims, with a particular emphasis on workers’ compensation. She is the author of “The Employee’s Guide to New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Law,” which she wrote to educate and empower injured workers to protect their legal rights.
Lisa explains, “I am passionate about protecting my clients from abuses by the insurance industry. I have seen insurance carriers avoid providing adequate medical treatment to injured people and terminate their benefits prematurely. I will not allow that to happen to my clients.”
