Riverdale Square Prevails in Suit Against Former Tenant

In Riverdale Square, LLC v. Two Brothers from New Jersey, LLC, Riverdale Square, LLC, a commercial landlord based in Secaucus, New Jersey, sued its former tenant, Two Brothers from New Jersey, LLC, after Two Brothers failed to pay rent in accordance with the parties’ Lease Agreement. The Court held that Two Brothers breached the Lease Agreement and found the two other named Defendants, Roberto Perparim Gatollari and Jimi Nouri, jointly and severally liable for all damages pursuant to the personal Guaranty they signed in conjunction with the Lease Agreement.

The Court entered a judgment in the amount of $257,852.57, which included an award of all attorney’s fees incurred by Riverdale Square in bringing the matter to trial. The case was tried by Jonathan McMeen and Nicole Tracy, both attorneys in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group of Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP, in Sparta, before the Honorable Vincent J. Militello, J.S.C. in Essex County.
